We are looking for a IT Cyber Security Intern to join our Information Technology team to help us pioneer a new culture of dentistry. Join our Tribe!

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cyber security within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will assist our IT department in identifying and addressing security threats, vulnerabilities, and ensuring the overall security of our IT systems.

 

  • Respond to alerts from network & security monitoring systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
  • Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Help analyze security incidents and provide detailed reports.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of security tools and software.
  • Participate in the development of security awareness training programs.
  • Research emerging security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address security issues and improve overall security posture.

Qualifications

So How Can You “Fill” This Role?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Pursuing or having completed CompTIA Sec+ is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining security standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
