Responsibilities

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

    • Follow instruction provided by dentists, surgeons and lab manager to design and fabricate dental prosthetics for temporaries including immediate placement of bridges and crowns 
    • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a timely manner 
    • Ability to communicate professionally 
    • Handle last minute rush cases 
    • Creative, out of the box mentality 
    • Attention to detail 
    • Strong digital design skills 
    • Highly organized 
    • Recognize and identify color shades 
    • Order and monitor lab supplies and equipment 
    • Maintain order and cleanliness of workspace 
    • Meet quality standards regarding dental prosthetics to establish safety and health protocols 
    • Review surgical guide design with dentists and surgeons 

     

Qualifications

So How Can You “Fill” This Role?

  • Lab experience: Minimum of 1 year (preferred, but willing to train) 

    CDT or completion of accredited dental laboratory program is preferred 

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong computer skills 
    • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients 
    • 1 year experience in dental prosthetics is required 
    • Familiarity with dental lab equipment, materials, and instruments 
    • Excellent manual dexterity 
    • Willing to learn 
    • Experience with 3shape Design software, 3shape Trios scanning software and hardware 
    • Experience with CAD/CAM software for dental milling and 3D printing 
  • Clinical providers performing aerosol-generating procedures are required the wear an N95 respirator, usage of which is regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  OSHA regulations require a medical evaluation for each team member who will be wearing a respirator to ensure it can be safely worn.  Subsequent to being medically cleared, OSHA requires a fit test to ensure the respirator fits properly for protection against pathogens.  Clearing the medical evaluation and fit test are conditions of employment for all team members working with aerosol-generating procedures.
