    Responsibilities

    • Post insurance and patient payments and adjustments
    • Download batches from quick base
    • Monitor reimbursement for any underpayments and forward to the AR team for resolution as needed
    • Ensure posted payments are reconciled on a daily basis
    • Escalate any payment issues to AR team through kick back process and monitor through the process to ensure completion in a timely manner

    Qualifications

    • Minimum two (2) years’ experience with dental or medical billing including posting payment experience
    • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
    • Experience with commercial insurance companies
    • Proven understanding of Explanation of Benefits forms, claim forms, and the insurance billing process
    • Experience with M/S office products including Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills establishing positive relationships
    • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
